The cheapest charging point near you
Evvia puts all public charging points in Italy, France and Germany on the map, about 30,000 sites in Italy, 46,000 in France and 70,000 in Germany, sorted from the lowest per-kWh price. You immediately see power, operator, connectors, hours and whether they are free right now.
1. Search the area
Type a municipality name, even a small one, or use your location.
2. Pick the cheapest
The list starts with the cheapest charging point. Filter by power, maximum price, operator or 24-hour opening.
3. Go and charge
Check the real-time status, open the route and pay with the shown app to get that price.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the cheapest charging point near me?
Open the map, search for the municipality or tap the location button: the list shows the area's charging points sorted from the lowest per-kWh price. With the “Max price” filter you hide those above your threshold, with “≥ 50 kW” or “≥ 150 kW” you keep only the fast ones.
Where do the charging point data come from?
In Italy, from the Piattaforma Unica Nazionale (PUN) of the GSE, where operators must publish the location, power, connectors, status and price of public charging points. In France, from the Base nationale des IRVE on data.gouv.fr. In Germany, from the Bundesnetzagentur registry. They are open data: we update them regularly and, in Italy, read the occupancy status in real time when you open a charging point.
What is the difference between the PUN price and app prices?
The PUN price is what the operator reports for charging without subscription. Charging apps (Enel X Way, Plenitude On The Road, Electroverse, Plugsurfing and others) often apply different prices on the same charging point. We show the lowest we know and tell you with which app you get it. Sources and dates are on the charging prices page.
How much does it cost to charge an electric car at public charging points?
It depends on power, operator and app. With alternating current (up to 22 kW) the typical price is around €0.50–0.70/kWh, with fast direct current it often rises above €0.70/kWh. Updated values, region by region, are on the charging prices page.
Are the charging points in my municipality listed?
Yes, if they are public and registered (PUN in Italy, IRVE in France). Find the list by region and municipality, with the cheapest on top, and by operator.
Is it free? Do I need to register?
It is free, with no registration and no operator advertising: nobody pays to appear first. We do not sell charges: you pay with the app or card you prefer.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes: it is a lightweight web app. From your phone browser choose “Add to Home Screen” and open it like an app, even on a weak connection.
Can I also search for a hamlet or village?
Yes: search also covers hamlets and villages. The locality list comes from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0 licence).
I found a wrong price: how do I report it?
Write to info@glisco.it telling us the charging point, the app and the price you saw: we update the price catalogue with every verified report.
My country is missing: how can I help?
Write to info@glisco.it telling us where to find the data: the national open registry with charging point locations (better with operator, power and hours) and its licence. If it is public and reusable, we add the country.
About us
Evvia is a project by Glisco s.n.c. di Paolo e Michele Comitini. We make simple tools to spend less, with public data and no conflicts of interest:
- BollettaEconomica: compare the electricity offers of the Portale Offerte and follow the PUN. Also useful to understand how much charging your car at home costs.
- FatturaEconomica: electronic invoicing for flat-rate freelancers, professionals and small businesses, from €0 per year.
